Gallery Nucleus Teases Some Imagery From "Heroes In A Half Shell - A TMNT Tribute"

LA's Gallery Nucleus is currently gearing up for the premiere of their Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles exhibit, and we've actually stumbled into a few amazing images floating around on Tumblr from the likes of AwesomeRobo faves Reyyyy and Sachin Teng.

They both created some fantastic takes on the entire TMNT squad, Krang, Master Splinter and a few others. The exhibit will feature over 60 pieces of tribute art and will launch July 12th and run till August 3rd, so if you happen to be in LA be sure to check the show out! And as a full disclaimer, this has nothing to do with the Bay produced reboot, and is sponsored by the Nickelodeon CG show. Check out Sachin's awesome pieces after the break!

Gallery Nucleus Debuts It's Tolkien Themed "Out of the Shire" Art Print Collection

Just in time for the launch of The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug last December, LA's Gallery Nucleus premiered their latest Middle Earth themed show called Out of the Shire, showcasing many talented artists take on Tolkien's iconic fantasy epic. Featuring artists from various industries including concept artists like Wes Burt of Massive Black, freelancers like Sam Bosma and talented illustrators like Nicolas Delort (Responsible for A Woman's Courage, above), we were left kind of wishing that we had a presence in LA to check out the exhibit.

However, to anyone hoping to get their hands on a piece of this beautiful exhibit, Nucleus just debuted their print series for the show. For anyone who hasn't had a chance to pick up a print from Nucleus before, they do some absolutely amazing Giclee prints at a fantastic price point. All proceeds benefit the artists and future shows, so I wouldn't hold back if you're a Tolkien aficionado. Check out more pieces from the collection after the break!

Mondo has always been amazing at two things, finding incredibly talented illustrative artists and selling out of merchandise at lightning speeds. While I've never been able to get my hands on some of Mondo's limited edition posters, they've always been great at providing them online for me stare at longingly.

Mondo's newest series comes from artist Mike Mitchell, spanning over 30 films with a fantastic portrait from each. The gallery is currently being shown at the Mondo Gallery in Austin, Texas; so if you're in the area, I'm jealous. After the break I've provided 15 of the 30-ish portraits that can be seen at the Mondo Gallery where you can spend time wishing you had the money to buy each and everyone.
