The Answer is a short film about a man trying to get rid off his half-shaved beard following the unfortunate mishap of his shaver breaking during preparation for an upcoming date. After fumbling through a variety of unorthodox solutions, he ultimately finds a solution in a mysterious book called 'The Answer.' As this point the short spirals into quasi-epic, conspiracy territory.
Directed and animated by Florent Rubio and Xin Zhao, The aim of this project was to produce a three minutes 3D animation short with high quality character animation. This project also entails a unique blend of 3D animation, 2D Flash animation and Motion Graphics. Turned out pretty cool.
