The Evolution Of Nintendo Controllers

Designed by Tony Miotto, this little pet project by Tony Miotto is a stylish showcase of the evolution of Nintendo's controllers since 1985-2012, starting with the NES up to the more recent WiiU system, with a breakdown of all the noteworthy features on each pad. Using a series of interesting tween effects, the short has some slick transitions between each generation using color and music to help each one pop. Kind of wish someone would actually include the Japanese variants in these videos, like the interesting look of the Famicom (The retro looking Japanese NES) compared to the sleek NES, and the chunky Super Nintendo versus the streamlined Super Famicom.
