There's not much I can really say after this comprehensive first impression other than, 'holy sh*t.' I can't even begin to comprehend how amazing this game looks from an open-world standpoint, there's so much to do! It's pretty incredibly the work Rockstar Games has put into this game, and seeing that they managed to fit all this on current-gen consoles is even more impressive. With the inclusion of the previous cinematic trailers, Grand Theft Auto V is looking to be Rockstars magnum opus for this generation (or at least until their next game is announced).
While Grand Theft Auto IV felt more like a neutered version of it's massive Playstation 2 predecessor (San Andreas) in terms of scope and activities possible in the open world, Grand Theft Auto V represents a true return to form with a sprawling open world and a narrative evolution in the form of three storylines playing out simultaneously. Throw that in with what looks to be like a massive overhaul of the multiplayer system, and it looks like this title might shape up to be one of those titles that this entire generation of consoles has been working towards. Color us excited.
