Music Video Roundup: The Gaslamp Killer, Holy Ghost, Rekki

Shot in a 12th century crypt in Prague and inspired by the works of Alejandro Jodorowsky's surreal films like The Holy Mountain, director Hyperballad brings us an unnerving music video filled with Dervish dancers, religious iconography and possessed creatures to bring Gaslamp's unsettling, tremulous synth track, 'In The Dark' to life. You can purchase Breakthrough, Gaslamps Killer's excellent LP over here.

Brooklyn based synth pop duo Holy Ghost! are gearing up to release a new album, their first since their 2011 self titled debut. The lead single, 'Dumb Disco Ideas' is a fun retro synth filled trip featuring some excellent percussion, pithy lyrics and a simple, yet effective music video directed by Ben Fries on a New York rooftop. Solid.

Rekki's 'Conduct' is a maddening descent into a neverending routine, which starts off normal enough yet begins to devolve as time goes on, ultimately spiraling completely out of control in accompaniment to the ever escalating music.
