Using a series of Toa Mata Bionicle sets as his beat delivery instruments, Giuseppe Acito rigged up a truly awesome MIDI controller combining Lego drummers and a sequencer app called Clavia Nordbeat to create a drum beat reminiscent of something that Bonobo would create.
The video is part of a series of experimental projects that the Italian sound designer is hoping to roll out, and with twenty years of experience as a sound designer under his belt I'm sure he'll have quite a few surprises to offer.
