Geoffrey Thoorens is a French concept artist and Matte Painter who we discovered while doing some research on Quantic Dream's (Heavy Rain) upcoming title, Beyond Two Souls. Thoorens has ping-ponged between film and videogame development, freelance and fulltime, getting the chance to contribute to a few dozen projects.

For a concept artist I can see the importance of this approach, as sticking to one theme or style for too long can lead to stagnation or 'pigeon-holing' (An industry term for specializing yourself into a corner).
