Teased sometime last summer by 3D artist Victor Hugo, it looks like we're finally getting the actual Street Fighter 3 short called 'Fuurinkazan,' which stands for 'Wind, Forest, Fire and Mountain,' a mantra based off of Sun Tzu's The Art Of War which stated: 'Move as swift as a wind, stay as silent as forest, attack as fierce as fire, undefeatable defense like a mountain.' Sounds just like Ryu, well rounded in just about every way. The short was close to being canceled last year, but thanks to the rallying of his friends it looks like it'll become a reality after all, with an entire 5 man team working on various facets of the short.
Plotwise, it looks like the heavily stylized short will revolve around Ryu facing off against Street Fighter 3's Zangief equivalent. A teaser poster stated that the short would be out this fall, but there's a possibility that it might come out even sooner.
