The Deep End

We previously featured Jake Fried for his unsettling 'Sick Leave,' short, a rather interesting animation created using additive and subtractive mediums: Ink and white out. Deep End uses the same techniques, and evolves it with the addition of a coffee wash, a perfect choice for the ever evolving, organic nature of his animations. There's a strange underlying symbolism to it all, but it's not one that's meant to be understood, just interpreted.
