The Art Of Kevin C. Steele

Princess Mononoke (Via)
I ran into Kevin Steele's work a month or two ago randomly via Tumblr, when I ran into his awesome Princess Mononoke piece (One of my favorite movies), commissioned by a private individual. The Dallas, TX based illustrator caught my attention with his beautiful lineart and amazing work that he accomplished with his brush pen. Along with illustration work, he's also dabbled in apparel work, tattoo art and graphic design. In short, he's doing a little bit of everything, and seeing how far he's come has been nothing short of remarkable.

Like any artist that has gone the freelance route, Kevin makes a living via selling prints, commissions and various other illustrations projects. I decided to contact him for a piece to give to Robogal, and was absolutely stunned by what he delivered and his professionalism, exceeding my every expectation. All I gave him was a poem by Lewis Carroll, and he delivered the piece you'll see right after the break, as well as some samples of his other work!

If you've ever wanted to support an extremely talented artist, I'd highly recommend dropping him a line for a commission. Mr. Steele is definitely an up and comer.
