Kristian Hammerstad is a British-trained, Scandinavian-born illustrator based in Oslo, Norway. He has worked for the likes of Penguin books, The New Yorker and Wired Magazine; Something not that isn't much of a surprise once you get a glimpse at his skill level on display in his portfolio.
Rad, punkish, retro visuals not unlike the Hernandez Bros, mixed with the edge and tone of Charles Burns illustrations, leave no doubt as to why his talent has been requested by international publishers and magazines. After the break, a small sample of Kristian awesome works. Enjoy!
