Project 13: A Musical Adventure

Project 13 is one of the more interesting projects I've stumbled into on Kickstarter lately. Created as a collaboration between Greg Penny, an American producer and one of our favorite animation collectives, (Studio 4C) Project 13 is an interesting looking journey into the animated musical realm. If I could describe this project in just a few words I'd say think of the characters from El Shaddai, the classic 80's musical cartoon Jem and Daft Punk's Interstella 5555 all smashed together.

The purpose of these animated episodes is to act as vessels for three upcoming musical tracks, which will debut over the course of the next year starting with September 2012. With the lofty goal of raising $400,000 to fund the rest of the episodes in 30 days, it'll be interesting to see if this catches on with the creative community.
