Craig Adams, aka The Superbrothers is a Canadian designer/artist that took the pixel art genre to a whole new level. Besides creating amazingly detailed art with pixels, Craig has also contributed to various animations, short movies and even a fantastic Ipad game called Sword & Sworcery; a sort of visual adventure/RPG game that you've hopefully played by now.
What I find most interesting about Craig's work is that his illustrations convey so much mood with a very limited number pixels, his simple aesthetics and minimalist approach making the images somehow timeless, truly in a world of their own.
