France Getting Limited Edition Star Wars: Episode 1 3D Burgers

Yeah I'm kind of in disbelief about this whole publicity stunt. Turns out that this May, Quick Burger (A French burger joint) is going to be offering three limited edition burgers to 'celebrate' the arrival of Episode 1 3D. If you've been reading the blog for a while, you probably know how we feel about Lucas' cinematic diarrhea getting a second shot on big screens.

Quick is going to be offering a 'Red Burger,' modeled after Darth Maul, a terrifying black bunned (wtf) 'Dark Vader' burger and a simply named Jedi Burger. I'd totally be excited for the idea, if I didn't hate the new trilogy with a passion. Nonetheless, its a cool marketing concept..Minus the whole black bun thing, which on the 'appetizing food ideas' scale is the burger equivalent of Heinz' green ketchup disaster.
