Superheroes: HBO Takes On The Cultural Phenomenon

As part of the cultural phenomenon that really picked up when the Batman: Dark Knight movie came out, showcasing vigilantes who took after the habits of Batman in their attempts to stop crime, Real Life Superheroes (RLSH) have been growing in number. This upcoming HBO documentary (August 8th) focuses on the lives of a select few superheroes from all around the nation, and their commitment to doing good in their society.

What creeps me out is the fact that some of these superheroes have accepted their fate, openly acknowledging that they will probably die doing what they love. With names like Mr. Xtreme, Master Legend, Life and Apocalypse Meow..I'll definitely be tuning in to see what drives these real life superheroes to take the law into their own hands, risk their lives and bring justice to those who would hurt others. My hat goes off to these guys.
