A Short History Of Cg Characters In Films

These are the types of mini documentaries I absolutely love. A 20 minute look into the evolution of computer generated characters in movies over the 30 years or so. We've come a long way, but does anyone else find it weird that the CG in 1993's Jurassic Park still looks better than a ton of movies that came out in the eighteen years since? Seriously, its kind of mind blowing how well its held up. Its kind of cool seeing the footage of the early claymation attempts for Jurassic Park before they went the computer generated route. Its a pretty comprehensive look at all the most defining moments of the last few decades, enjoy.
