Welcome Platter of brains, kidneys and Mountain Dew. |
Electronic Arts said today it has reached an agreement to acquire Popcap Games, makers of Peggle and Plants vs. Zombies. The deal will cost EA a whopping $1.3 Billion dollars over a multi year period. I think it's a great move, I love Popcap games and Plants vs. Zombies was one of the most addictive games I have ever played. How so? Well, I have a physical copy on PC, a copy on my iPhone and the XBLA version. I can't live without my plants defending me. EA buying in now is a very smart marketing move.
But in response to the deal, the Zombies decided to welcome the company the best way they know how; through love, brains and hatred of plants.
Robert Kirkman doesn't have s*** on these zombies.
