As the art of feature for today, we bring you the preproduction art of Transformers 3 by the awesome San Francisco based concept art house known as Massive Black and other artists. Before any of these movies get made, a ton of artists usually get involved in concepting all the new characters, vehicles and environments for these movies. Despite this movie getting a somewhat negative reception, from myself included...You can't deny that they created some really damn cool art and ideas for a bunch of the Autobot/Decepticon newcomers and existing ones.

Personally, Soundwave and Laserbeak were some of my favorite designs from this new flick. Check out over 100 images after the break! And be forewarned, if you have a slow connection, this might cause your computer to explode.

But wait! There's more! Aside from the art of the Massive Black guys, we also found a whole cache of art by Josh Nizzi, who had to take down his Transformers 3 gallery at the request of Paramount pictures. Looking at his work, it appears that Josh was more focused on some of the baddies, including damaged Megatron and Soundwave...He also did some work on the super random Nascar bots (Including the walking Target ad with the bullseye on his belly). We managed to download all the images before this happened, so thank us later..
