AwesomeRobo Post E3 Impressions

Its been a crazy few days for some of us who traveled over to LA. For our first E3 as press, it took us a while to figure out what stance we'd want to take with the slew of new hardware and software announcements from all the big studios. At the end of the day, I think we ended up staying away from all the overly sequel-rific titles and simply focusing on the guys trying to do things a little differently. Read more after the break!

As much as sequels are cool, it felt like a lot of these games were basically the same things I'd seen in previous years with a fresh coat of paint. After a few years, you can kind of see through it for what it really is...The same game with a few new set pieces or settings and minor gameplay additions. We were groaning really hard during the Nintendo press conference as they announced a new Mario Kart, Mario, Zelda and a system that had no exclusives other than their first party titles and a fancy screen controller. So yeah, our post E3 wrapup will focus on the titles that stood out or made an impression in a sea of recycled ideas and tired sequels and reboots.  Burgertime HD, anyone? Also, we hit 1,000,000 during our trip. Lets just say we had a few drinks to that.
