'The Objectuals' was a series created by Hyung Ko Lee in an exploration of body modification...Originally starting out with devices that modified other parts of his body, he finally settled on creating a helmet which would change the proportions of various features via the use of various lenses. Why? Hyung Ko Lee was trying to deliver social commentary about the at times irrational nature of people obsessed with modifying their bodies and faces to reach an 'ideal' look that they had in mind. 7 more Objectuals of the helmet series after the jump.
Clever way of pointing out how ridiculous people can be. I can't even immagine what they see when they look in a mirror.
