Chinese Government Bans Time Travel From Television

You can't make this s**t up.
The government of China has banned all depictions of time travel on Chinese television. Time travel is on the list of activities that have been banned for scriptwriters and directors since March 31 that includes reincarnation and feudal superstitions.

'Many stories are totally made up and are made to strain for an effect of novelty. The producers and writers are treating serious history in a frivolous way, which should by no means be encouraged any longer,' Li Jingsheng, head of television drama at Sarft, said.
It has been stressed that the censorship is not an outright ban but rather a clamping down, which means programme makers will have to adhere to stricter rules.

I guess this means China truly has the secret for Time Travel. They should go back in time and prevent time travel from being created thus causing a major time paradox and erasing time and space.

Maybe it's for the best.

  1. It might be something cultural honestly. I know they banned all depictions of undead from WoW because people find it offensive. Is this the case too?
