Hobo With A Shotgun is everything I want out of a movie, plus a little more. Taking a few pages from the grindhouse style guide, the movie follows a hobo (played by Rutger Hauer) as he wanders into a new city that is completely overrun with chaos and crime. We're talking pedo Santas, crooked cops, abused prostitutes with no future and all kinds of other unsavory characters. Faced with the most fubar of situations, Hobo sets out to take matters into his own hands with his trusty shotgun. Not convinced? Let the trailer after the jump do the rest of the convincing.
The movie premiered at Sundance in January, but unfortunately its looking like you'll have to wait till a DVD release for this one. The release schedule is so limited on this one that its a little bit disheartening. If you're in Amsterdam or New York in mid May, go catch a screening.
