Take a dash of Speedracer, mix it with some F-Zero and a bit of Death Race, and you get Redline. This new feature anime by Takeshi Koike, mostly known in the west for his work on features like Memories, the Animatrix and Samurai Champloo shows some real promise. A super colorful style, fluid animation and a cast of colorful characters in a dystopian looking world show great promise. Once I figure out how to import this I'll be sure to drop a review.
