Remember the Dead Island Game that I keep talking about?? Well, when it rains, it pours. Seems like a Dead Island Movie has just been announced.
Variety claims the producers "have started searching for a writer and are currently in discussions with studios and film financiers about making the movie."
According to Deadline,"Studios and agencies are all over them, suggesting talent packages and story lines to try and make a screen deal. That will likely happen in the next week or so. The film will will follow a Memento-like storyline, even though the video game does not."
Sounds interesting. All seems to be happening so fast, though. I really hope I'm not burnt out by the time the game comes out. Or the movie. Or the Sequel, spin-offs, comics and action figures that will inevitably follow. Leave a comment and tell us what you think!
