After having picked up pieces of the original DOTA team, including Icefrog(Defense of the Ancients), Valve just announced today via Gameinformer that DOTA 2 will be coming out in 2011. Its interesting to hear Valve jump on the already crowded hero defense genre, occupied by titles like League of Legends, Heroes of Newerth and more. An interesting new feature that might differentiate it from the crowd might be the ability to be a Coach as a feature to noobs, using in game voice chat. This new art is really looking spiffy, so sign us up.
The art looks breathtaking. Can't wait to hear the exact release date.
