Another creation from the students of Supinfocom is the 3D animated short, Free Wheel. A cleaning lady finds herself fantasizing about a different life, one that involves her places of employment, the Roller Derby Hall of Fame. Her dreams lead her into a scenario where she has to contend with a famed roller derby athlete in quite the out-of-this-world fashion. Complete with 1950's surfer and rockabilly tunes, plus pin-up model character dimensions, this retro-inspired short gives us a glimpse into something I think most of us can relate to: The ultimate daydream of a life unlike your own.

Coffee Propaganda
This adorable animated short shows us a planet not too far from Earth (aka 'The Blue Planet'), and their discovery of the coffee bean. Done as a retro-esque newsreel, complete with facts and 'facts,' as well as a small dose of subtle tongue-in-cheek humor. It's bright, peppy, and lots of fun to watch. Makes me almost crave a caffeine fix. Almost. This collaborative project was produced by a group at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena.
