Hallowed by Chris Turner

UK-based Chris Turner, of Hungry Man Productions, created this awesome performance art show for TWENTY6 Magazine's 'H' issue. Based on Dante's Inferno, this very dark short features dancers from the English National Ballet in a variety of costumes and locations, performing very modern, almost abstract sets. I really loved the dark combination of both elegance and glamour, and the interjected feeling of something more modern and industrial. The remixed version of Plaid's 'Eye Robot.' It was all like an otherworldly masquerade ball that you're stuck at for an eternity.

Darren Quach's Scifi Goodness

If you've ever played any of Insomniac's offerings from the last decade or so, you've probably encountered Darren Quach's designs in on form or the other. Darren's worked on Resistance, Ratchet & Clank and other Insomniac IP's for the last nine years or so, contributing his excellent industrial design skills to the studio. His understanding of how things are mechanically put together help give his designs a very grounded, functional feel whereas other concept artist usually just imply mechanical aspects. Author & Punisher: A Truly Unique Industrial Sound

Tristan Shone runs a one man band called Author & Punisher, with a sound that can be best described as dark industrial/metal. Using some hand made machines, controllers and speakers he's capable of generating a truly distorted, dark, brooding sound that is generated via physical force to create some legit industrial noise to accompany the metal tracks. It might not be everybody's cup of tea, but hell...I love this guys thinking. Check out a few tracks of Author & Punisher on their Sound Cloud.
