Living on a on a bridge connecting two worlds, a guardian lives out his days smuggling people across dimensions until a day comes that changes his mind about his own role. I really loved that we were only shown the crossing and never given a glimpse of either world, only a glimpse of the mysteriously masked pilgrims making the solemn crossing.
The subtlety of the storytelling reminded me of the type of short that Studio Ghibli would come up with. This was a graduation short film directed by Jeremie Becquer, Djamel Benannoune, Suheb Zako.
