A short animated film about an unusual hobby and its disastrous consequences, Eye Candy by Pascal Monaco & Felix Meyer of the We Think Things collective is a moody short about a stalker with an unfortunate pursuit. When he ultimately goes too far in his hunt for vision, the world around him changes in a way he couldn't have predicted.
Loved the monochromatic, hazy style reminiscent of some of Tim Burton's earlier, more exciting work. Short and sweet, Pascal and Felix have been working on this for years now as an 'in between' project. Nice to see it finally completed.
