LetMe is the alias for Yong-Sik Jung, a Korean concept artist and illustrator currently employed at Eyedentity Games, the folks behind
Dragons Nest and
Dungeon Striker, which both share Yong-Sik's distinct visual style. His exaggerated style brings back memories of Akihiko Yoshida's designs for
Final Fantasy Tactics, which shared similar stylistic traits in terms of how character proportions were handled, as well as selective areas of detail.
The art might seem deceptively simple looking, but it takes quite a bit of skill to pull of the subtlety that he does. It's quite fun to see where he places detail in his rather chibi-fied designs, which definitely fall more into the character design category. Check out more of his awesome work after the break!
