The Me Bird

This Brazilian-made animated short from 18bis is classical and surreal, with just the right amount of surreal without venturing over into bizarre territory (not that bizarre is necessarily a bad thing...). Loosely based on a poem, the short is about a ballerina on a journey for freedom.  The combination of both paper cut-outs and digital art are brought together seamlessly into a rather lovely animation.
