We couldn't be more excited to finally get a trailer for Katsuhiro Otomo's (Akira, Steamboy) Short Peace, an anime anthology featuring the work of some of the best directors out there: Redline’s Katsuhito Ishii, Freedom's Shuhei Morita and Super Robot Wars' Hajime Katoki. Featuring a mix of fantasy, historical and scifi shorts, the anthology promises a great variety of tastes tied together by a loose theme.
The last anthology I watched was Memories, also produced by Katushiro Otomo back in 1995. So in conclusion: 4 shorts by 4 very talented directors for a 2013 crowd. Stay tuned for more updates as they come. We featured Otomo's Combustible trailer a while back, as it was on the short list for being Oscar nominated in the animated short category.
