Alejandro is a Dominican born photographer who lives and works in northern Mexico. With an extensive portfolio and various grants and prizes under his belt Alejandro's visual approach seems to focus on regional issues, concerns and cultural aspects of the everyday life in the amalgamated, enticing and often turbulent region that comprises the US south border and Mexican northern territories.
His photo series, 'Carpoolers' is one of Cartagena's latest works, playing with the visual impact and word-play of the concept, displaying his visual prowess and presenting us an amazing photographic series. After the break, a small selection of Car poolers. Enjoy!
