Metal Gear Rex Getting An Epic Toy Treatment

I'm guessing most of you are familiar with the iconic Metal Gear Rex, which starred in the original Metal Gear Solid and later appeared in the Playstation 3 installment, Metal Gear Solid 4. We just learned that Ashley Wood's fantastic toy company (threeA) has been developing a toy version, which aside from being insanely detailed, will also measure a whopping 16 inches tall. I've been waiting about a decade for a proper Rex figurine, so I'll start saving up now because I know this thing is not going to come cheap. The limited edition figure will be on sale January 2012, for somewhere between the $400-600 range. Check out more shots of the prototype after the break!
