It might look like a really cool, abstract experiment in CG...But this display was actually captured in real life, and presented in an incredibly cool manner by Susi Sie using Ferrofluids and a Canon 5D Mach II.

What are Ferrofluids? Ferro is Latin and Italian for Iron, and its basically a highly reactive liquid that acts up in spectacular ways when introduced to a magnetic field. Youtube is full of videos of people toying with these liquids.
