Juan Of The Dead Brings A Zombie Revolution To Cuba
The zombie movie market has kind of been oversaturated as of late with plenty of releases and remakes featuring various American cities, towns and gas stations under siege from the undead. This awesome looking upcoming flick, featuring a Cuban take on the zombie film by director Alejandro Bruges looks like it might bring a much needed breath of fresh air for the genre, as zombies land on their shores and initiate a new revolution.
The fun aspect of this movie revolves around the Cuban government and populace having no idea as to what they're dealing with, labeling the zombies as 'American drunken dissidents.' This is where slackers Juan and Lazaro step in to take care of business in order to defend the place they love. The choice of setting and the fact that this is the first Cuban horror movie to ever get made makes this a movie to keep an eye out for. Check out the poster after the break!
