Daredevil Reboot Confirmed

(Via)
Have you ever read Daredevil: Born Again? No? Then you need to stop reading this, track down a copy and read it. Ok, back yet? Holy s***, I know right? Amazing.

Frank Miller and David Mazzucchelli's Born Again arc took an already dark tale and showed us what Frank Miller could be capable of before he went all All Star Batman & Robin and ruined his name within the comic industry. I especially remember the Green Lantern issue. Yuck.

Born Again was a tale that put Matt Murdock at his all time low, and had him try and rise to glory. Kingpin learns that he is Daredevil, and instead of going straight after him he put the screws to him, leaving Murdock a shell of a man, penniless, disbarred, and broken and only then did Kingpin defeat him physically. Daredevil then rises, becoming a better man. It's in my top 10 of comics of all time. It's dark, it's depressing, and it's gripping. It's a saga that influenced a number of writers and stories and one of the most popular Marvel comics of all time.

Why is it all relevant? The Daredevil movie reboot is happening, and this is the story they are adapting.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Brad Caleb Kane, a writer-producer on cult Fox TV show Fringe, has been hired to pen the franchise’s relaunch. David Slade is developing and attached to direct. Peter Chernin and Dylan Clark of Chernin Entertainment are producing.

You need to read the comic; once you do you'll understand why it's perfect for the big screen.
