Karate Kommandos On DVD

Yay?

This might quite possibly be the most obscure, overlooked April Fools joke from Warner Brothers.  About two weeks ago they quietly added a new item to their online store, a DVD of the shortlived Chuck Norris cartoon series from the eighties. It brought back a flood of memories, most notably its one episode run on Italian TV (I grew up there) that left me horrifically confused as a child.

I mean, the show had Chuck Norris as himself with a cast of horrifically stereotypical sidekicks, most notably Kimo and Tabe: A surly Sumo wrestler of ambiguous ethnicity and their attempt at a Japanese samurai.  He also had some kids I guess, but they were oh so forgettable.  The April fools fell flat, but the content is still laughably bad. How long did this series last?  5 episodes.  And they're trying to sell it for $15.  The intro to this trainwreck after the jump!
