Ant Infestation Time Lapse

Francois Vautier set out to document what an ant colony in his scanner would accomplish in a 5 year period...And the time lapse is absolutely fascinating.  If you like corrosion, overgrowth and infestation, you are going to love this time lapse.  The fact that the scanner remained alive during this entire period is stunning, and knowing that the ants survived living in such a hostile environment are a testament to how badass ants are.
