Anna O' Brian's Good Morning is kind of adorable, and brought back memories of getting woken up every morning to go to school. That light switch going on early in the morning on a rainy day, getting dragged out of bed to the breakfast table for a half awake meal - The typical ritual. And every once in a while we'd roll the dice and hope to convince the folks that we were sick for that rare chance to stay home and watch cartoons on a school day.
Such a simple premise, but so relatable. I really enjoyed Anna's choices of going the grayscale route to represent the typical vibe of one of those stormy mornings, and the awesome choice of music to offset the somber weather: Dainty Miss by Harry Breuer and His Quintet. Solid for a first year film!
