Empire State Of Pen By Patrick Vale

This short by the London based illustrator, animator and artist Patrick Vale showcases a timelapse of his process for creating a full, freehand illustration of Manhattan with ink. The illustration was completed over the course of 4-5 days, and a few dozen cups of coffee from the looks of it. I was left wishing that he hadn't done the thick outlining towards the end, but c'est la vie..It's still an incredible feat that he accomplished.
